From my initial consultation to my current post-op recovery I have found Mr Aweid to be brilliant. Having run out of road with another consultant to effectively address my knee pain, Mr Aweid listened to my concerns, confirmed a diagnosis and then worked with me to develop a way forward, which included a type of surgery not many consultants offer, plus all the investigations required to progress this. He made sure my wife & I understood my condition and my options and has been reassuring throughout. He is supportive, encouraging, re-assuring and built our confidence in both the procedure and his ability to undertake it.

Great experience with Mr Aweid with my ACL reconstruction surgery and post operation recovery. Mr Osama Aweid is not only a excellent surgeon but also a excellent person. From the first time I met Mr Aweid prior to my first full knee replacement in my left leg on 10th May Mr Aweid put me at ease as he explained in great detail the procedure that was to take place. After I left hospital my recovery was excellent with no pain in my knee and flexibility excellent. After the first knee replacement being excellent my right knee full knee was scheduled for 30th of August just three and half months later in its self was excellent. Again Mr Aweid was very professional about explaining to me all the possibilities that could go wrong but I was very confident in his hands.

I have never had surgery before and Mr Aweid was the knee specialist surgeon who operated after my accident about 5 weeks ago. He was informative and friendly pre-surgery. The surgery was complicated but a great success and post surgery he has been fantastic so far. Very happy with my care under him
